Pe 30 aprilie 2013, EUROPAfest sarbatoreste International Jazz Day, aflata sub patronajul UNESCO prin trei evenimente importante: Bucharest International Jazz Competition si lansarea a doua site-uri dedicate jazz-ului www.jazzcompetition.ro si www.jmEvents.ro.
Ajuns la editia cu nr. 7, Bucharest International Jazz Competition, cotat de BBC intre primele 3 concursuri de jazz din Europa, aduce in perioada 18-25 mai 2013 concerte, workshop-uri si jam sessions. Evenimentul s-a evidentiat pe piata de jazz ca lider de opinie, mereu dornic sa ofere spectatorilor un mix inedit de productii si creatii de jazz. In 2013, peste 27 de trupe din 22 de tari, din SUA pana in Indonezia, vor transforma Bucurestiul in capitala jazz-ului mondial.
Site-ul www.jazzcompetition.ro va fi lansat public pe data de 30 aprilie, avand ca target muzicienii de jazz profesionisti si iubitorii acestui gen muzical din intreaga lume. Inca de la primul click esti introdus in lumea neconventionala a jazzului. Un site ce transmite sentimentul ca te afli in sala de concerte, aproape de artisti si gusti cu pofta fiecare acord de jazz. Culoarea galbena transmite energie si buna dispozitie, iar eleganta si in acelasi timp rafinamentul acestui site sunt prezentate prin imaginea unui pian care asteapta sa fie ascultat.
Site-ul www.jmEvents.ro apartine unuia dintre actorii principali in domeniul organizarii de evenimente din spatiul autohton. jmEvents acorda o atentie deosebita programelor si proiectelor dedicate jazz-ului, intre acestea numarandu-se evenimente de prestigiu, cu 20 de ani de traditie precum EUROPAfest – jazz, blues, pop si clasic. In 2013, sub sloganul “It’s all about live quality music!” festivalul prezinta peste 300 de artisti din 52 de tari. La categoria jazz vor avea loc concerte, jam sessions, workshopuri, dar si prezentari cu fotografii de jazz.
La acesta se adauga PROMS – Jazz & Classic, Urban Culture Fusion, un melanj intre acorduri de jazz, muzica clasica si de film.
jmEvents promoveaza jazz-ul profesionist in Romania si subscrie valorilor promovate de Ziua Interntionala a Jazz-ului : unitate, pace, libertate de exprimare si eradicarea discriminarii.
30 aprilie reuneste comunitati, artisti, pasionati de jazz din toata lumea pentru a sarbatori si a invata despre arta jazz-ului, radacinile sale, viitorul si impactul lui. International Jazz Day contribuie la dezvoltarea sociala si culturala prin intermediul muzicii, jazz-ul fiind vazut ca instrument de educatie, dialog si comunicare.
Energia si libertatea jazzului unesc continente, in aceasta zi avand loc peste 100 de evenimente, in mai multe tari din lume: concerte, conferinte, proiectii de filme, expozitii de fotografii. Nume mari ale muzicii se alatura anual acestei sarbatori a jazz-ului, printre care Herbie Hancock, John Beasley, Tony Bennett, George Benson.

The website www.jmEvents.ro belongs to one of the main actors in the area of event planning in Romania. jmEvents pays special attention to the programs and projects dedicated to jazz, among which are prestigious events, with 20 years of tradition such as EUROPAfest – jazz, blues, pop, classic. In 2013, under the slogan “It’s all about live quality music!” the festival presents over 300 artists from 52 countries.
